On September 7, 2010 Star Tours officially closed for refurbishment.  I did mange to make it over on Aug 29th to take my final ride on this original version.  I had both excitement and sadness.  I remember the first time I rode Star Tours and how amazed I was by the technology of the experience.  It become one of my favorites.  So, here I was to say good bye and wondering if  I will be amazed by the improvements.   I hope, but only time will tell.  The new ride will open in May 2011.
